Entering the Nyinba Valley is like stepping back in time. In the small villages century-old Tibetan Buddhist traditions are still an important part of daily life. The trek will take you to the Buddhist monastery of Raling Gompa, which is beautifully located at the bottom of Crystal Mountain. Leaving from Kathmandu, it’s an 8 day trip, but it can be shortened or extended, depending on how many hours you decide to walk per day.

 

 

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, (Hotel + B),
  • Day 02: Flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot (2,980 M/9,776ft) trek to Buraunse (3,200 M/10,498ft) via Buraunse Gompa (3430 M/11,253ft), 4-5 hrs, (Camp + B-L-D),
  • Day 03: Trek from Buraunse to Nimatang (3,325 M/10,908ft), 4 hrs, (Camp + B-L-D),
  • Day 04: Trek from Nimatang to Raling Gompa (3,930 m/12,893ft), 3 ½ -4 hrs, (Camp + B-L-D),
  • Day 05: Trek from Raling Gompa to Bargaun (2,940 M/9,645ft), 4 hrs, (Camp + B-L-D),
  • Day 06: Trek from Bargaun to Karpunath (2,106 M/6,909ft), 4-5 hrs, (Camp + B-L-D),
  • Day 07: Trek from Karpunath to Simikot (2,980 M/9,776ft), 5-5 hrs, (Camp + B-L-D),
  • Day 08: Flight from Simikot to Nepalgunj and connecting flight to Kathmandu (1,350 M/4,429ft), (Hotel + B).

Cost Includes:

  • Airport-Hotel-Airport transfer via private car (International & Domestic Airports),
